The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board serves as an independently elected, semi-autonomous body responsible for governing, maintaining, and developing the Minneapolis Park System.

Minneapolis voters elect park board leaders every four years. Voters can vote for 3 “at-large” members. The MN Secretary of State website lists the candidates here. Voters also elect 1 “district” or neighborhood representative. There are 6 districts.
