The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (https://www.minneapolisparks.org/about-us/)serves as an independently elected, semi-autonomous body responsible for governing, maintaining, and developing the Minneapolis Park System.

Minneapolis voters elect park board leaders every four years. Voters can vote for 3 “at-large” members. There are 6 districts.
